In the latest "News Briefs", Tony reveals some interesting details on the dirty anti-gunner tricks Paul Koretz used to SQUEAK (passed by 1 vote) his .50 CALIBER RIFLE BAN through the Assembly. That this atrocity just BARELY made it bodes well for stopping the bill (AB 50) before it gets to Gray Davis' desk!

I don't want or need one of these things but guess I better get one before they're all gone.

Amendment II

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed(unless the gov't wants to limit the kind a Caliber of guns the people can keep and bear).

Reminds me of Animal Farm.

I haven't heard anyone address it, but what effect would these bans have on .50 muzzleloaders or the new S&W handgun.

The current piece of legislation addresses only the .50 BMG cartridge. But, as always, the operative word is 'current'. These people won't stop until they run out of guns to ban.

If a half inch hole in someone is bad at a mile, wouldn't it be just as bad at 100 yards?

My point is, we all know hunters who think this isn't their fight. They need to wake up.

This is how the Brits and Aussies started, now they are banning swords and toy guns. And wondering why the crime rates are going up...
