The NRA Members' Council of Westside Los Angeles will meet this Thursday, June 12th, 7pm, for our regular monthly meeting (2nd Thursday of every month.) As usual, the meeting will be held at the American Legion Hall, 5309 S. Sepulveda Blvd. in Culver City.
Our featured speaker this month will be Ken Mays. Ken owns and operates the Top Gun Training Centre located at Burro Canyon in Azusa. Ken has studied shooting under both Jeff Cooper and Colonel Rex Applegate. Both of his instructors had strong and opposing opinions on the issue of point shooting vs. sighted shooting, something about which there seems to be more controversy in shooting circles than almost any other issue. Ken has drawn his own conclusions from the teaching of these two masters, and will give us the benefits of his schooling and subsequent thinking at our meeting.
There will also be a wrap-up of the dramatic events involving firearms legislation that took place in the California legislature this last week.
See http://www.nrawestla.org for more information about the Westside Los Angeles Members' Council. The "How You Can Join Us" page has maps showing the meeting location.

Does Mr. Ken Mays or Top Gun Training Centre have any video tapes of shooting tips available? The gun club I belong to is always interested in these to show at monthly meetings.

Thanks for the bump.
BTW, I just visted the Liberty Belles web site. I am very much impressed.
The pictures of all those pretty gun babes having fun are just great.
If you ever sponser a shoot here in Kentucky or in a nearby state like Indiana or Tennessee let me know. I want to support the LBs.

I want to come by and make a short presentation based upon my grass-roots work. No sales-pitch, no lies; no political stuff. Just a quick over-view and capture about the historical considerations about our individiual liberties here in our great nation, the USA. I shall bring my own computer and projection equipment.
Let me know, if this individual effort is possible within your live forum.
Best Regards!

Naw.
I am down right "evil" pumping up folks about their individual rights and liberties that the political parties can not .. nor ever, shall ... control.
