Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, New York Democrat, paused for a moment in the Senate chamber yesterday to contemplate the vote on the judicial appointment of Assistant Attorney General Michael Chertoff

All Hail Caesar!!!
Am I not M-E-R-C-I-F-U-L!??
Also,from the other thread...
The hardback version of "Living History" costs about $28. A seven-hour audio version of the book is also available in stores.
Wow! Now I know how to make captured terrorists crack.
PERFECT!
Feed him to the lions, Hillary! Your vote is an historical one that just goes to show how VINDICTIVE you are. I wonder if your constituents in NY, whom you claim to represent, wanted him to be voted down? Or did those clenching fists, the same ones holding the fingers with which you supposedly wanted to strangle your husband, want to beat the **** out of Mr. Chertoff? Ah, but it was a memorable and very happy day for him, so you're the loser. I'm sure you're plotting your revenge as I type, Gladiator Girl.
Hillary is like Saddam.
She is a creature of long memories, grievance, and revanche.
She is also extremely intelligent and ruthless. She does something else. She drives her enemies, you and me, to distraction. This is an important weapon in her arsenal. She uses our tendency to go overboard about her to paint her enemies as unreasonable people. This is a very important asset as she prepares herself for 2008. We must be mindful of her focus, her drive, and her ambition.
She can be defeated, utterly, if we use her sense of rage, disappointment, and hatred against her. This is all very much like aiki do, and it will take all our talents to convince the American people that this leftist should come nowhere near the Presidency.
It will also take a very special candidate....
....but that is another story for another thread.
Be Seeing You,
Chris
You'll get your chance. Of that I'm convinced. The only way you defeat is the application of two tools, patient discussion of conservative means and ends and a good candidate to discuss them with.
I like Condi because Hillary can't play the victim against another woman. There is a reason the DNC is putting together a dirt file on her.

I don't doubt this at all. Do you have any intel on who / what the Dims are planning to smear Dr. Rice?

They will do one of two things:
1. Dredge up a real or imaginary lesbian affair from her past. This actually would not hurt her. Most voters would figure out a dirty trick when they saw it. Besides, once that occured, we would document-dump everything we have on Hillary's women. This, therefore, is unlikely. What is more likely is....
2. Attempt to paint her as George W. Bush's "Other Woman", a homewrecker. Do not be surprised if this is the favored plan of attack, given our deterrent capabilities in regard to Hillary. The important objective here is to smear her within the black community. She is a powerful, conservative black female. She is an extremely close friend of President Bush. The liberals must destroy her within the black community by painting her as George W. Bush's paramour. That has resonance in the black community. This cartoon, for instance, appeared in the web magazine, The Black Commentator not one month ago.
It was republished in the Chicago Defender, iirc, within several weeks and, I believe, was published in several other papers. This is called "black propaganda" (no pun intended) and is not happening by accident.
Trust me. They will do this. Don't be surprised if the name Jack Palladino turns up over the next several months on Drudge in relation to Condoleezza Rice and the DNC.
Be Seeing You,
Chris
