You got that right. Close to 90% of blacks and Jews vote for the socialists.
The Jews might rethink their position because of Israel and how the Republicans stand on that subject.
There is no incentive for the blacks to vote Republican. They relate to the Powells, Rices and Thomases as working whites would relate to the Buffetts and Gates.

Actually, I disagree with you about this. If blacks, as a group, really wanted to expand their political influence, they would not put all their eggs in one basket, but would work the system and make both parties work for their vote. What you have now is a party who takes their votes for granted. Furthermore, if one party has a lock on your constituency for the last 40 years and life has not improved for you, don't you think that your loyalty should be re-examined?
