Party Animals
Look for GOP bigwig Ed Gillespie to be named the new Republican Party Chairman this month, may be this week.
And keep an eye on Democratic boss Terry McAuliffe.
Insiders say recent flubs might prompt party elders to consider a learship change.

It's too bad. He's really screwed up the democrats and it would be a shame to see someone come in and help them instead of hurting them.

(I was only looking at your nametag, honest!)

Although the Dims would have a lot more trouble raising funds without him..

Do the party elders have anything to say about it?
What does Hillary! want?
To: ewing
Let's hope this is not true. We need Terry McAwful at the head of the DNC.

Terry isn't going anywhere. I'd bet money on it. The Clintons still own the party.

I'm gonna miss Terry playing Boo-Boo to Clinton's Yogi. Dem picnic baskets full of follie will never be the same.

Flubs?! Yeah, and the Invasion of Poland was a minor faux-pas.

Looks like some people believe it's may be time to flust the toilet on this POS.

I can't believe they selected such a grating twerp for party chair. (Listening to that nasal twang as McAwful makes outrageous comments is like listening to fingernails on a chalkboard!) However, since the Dims did us such a favor, the least they could do is to leave him there at least through the next election cycle.

The Clintons still own the party. Yes, but did Terry produce? The answer is "no," and friendship only goes so far with the Clintons. I'm sure that Hillary will try to choose someone more apt than Terry. You
know that she wants to run for POTUS and actually win.
By the way, what mistakes did ol' Terry make?
To: chiefqc
As long as they can keep the fundraising connections..

You're right! McAwful will hold the chairmanship as long as Bill & Hillary want him there.
To: TommyDale
I would tend to agree with the direction they are going right now..

If Dona Brazile doesn't get offered the job, or she declines..it means that Breaux is stepping down in LA, and she's running for the seat. I've said this before, several times, and in today's WashTimes, there's a peice about the Dems that says the same thing about Breaux..
