The Matrix Reloaded was terrible. It couldn't end soon enough for me.

Just saw this yesterday for the first time in IMAX.

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW.

FYI-If you have never seen IMAX, IMAX looks and sounds amazing. People were ooohing and aaahing at the opening credits...just the digital images.

The audience clapped at least 4 times after major action and fight scenes.

Even the scene some people thought were cheesy in reviews I have read looked and sounded awesome on IMAX.

I was physically exhausted and spent after watching it on such a big screen. There is so movement and action that my eyes had trouble focusing on some images quickly. I really felt like I was moving as well.

One person in my group (of 8,we got their 45 minutes early to reserve center seats right in the middle of the screen), afterwards noticed his armpits had sweated profusely. We all agreed our hearts had been beating at an accelerated rate.

I heard several other movie goers say they would never enjoy a regular movie as much again after seeing such a visual whirlwind in an IMAX formula.

This movie rocked, and in IMAX it rocked 100 times more. It was better than I expected and I think even mroe fun than the first movie. The kung fu fighting was even better and more advanced. Fantastic. The freeway chase scene was absurdly fun to watch and probably got the best reaction from the audience. I hope they have held something back for the third installment as I can't imagine how they could outdo themsleves again.

IMAX is superior. Just the frame rate alone makes it worth the price. Next tme you watch a movie, notice how things get blurry when the scene pans at more than a very slow rate. The sound systems are much better than in other theatres also.
IMHO, this is where movies will have to go. Home theatre systems are getting too good. Being at the Consumer Electronics show this year clearly showed that. I'll give the migration 10 years tops.
