after the event the Pentagon should have said . . . that is what we expected, that is the information that we were led to believe before the raid, but actually we could have just gone in there, opened the door." "See, we just have this problem, that if the Pentagon doesn't assume the best instead of preparing for the worst, there won't be enough bad news to feed our craving for criticism of them. So if they won't allow bad news to generate itself spontaneously we will have to create it ourselves. The Pentagon should just do us a favor and call a press conference and announce that they are all nincompoops. That's the least they could do, after all we've done for them."

If the mission was videotaped, isn't it possible that the videotape might confirm the firefights that the Army claims occured before entering and after leaving the hospital?

Robert Sheer and the BBC are contemptable haters of America who cannot stand the fact that their entire lives and political philosphy has been based on falsehoods and irrationality.
In order to avoid this fact, they lie, obstruct the truth, and create grand conspiracies to explain the most straightforward of events. They cannot stand truth and simple fact. It is just too, too, painful for them.

Whether this report by the BBC stirred things up or not, this has been the touted story by the lefties since the day it happened. The idiots just cannot alienate our military enough - they must think they can still nullify their votes come election day.

"This was a script made for Hollywood, made by the Pentagon," is how BBC reporter John Kampfner described the rescue in his May 15 report. And what exactly qualifies this a-hole to second guess our Special Operations guys? How many days has he spent in uniform? How many times has he been in harm's way?
What benefit would there have been to going in without the support they brought? Why should they take have taken that risk? Because some a-hole civilian from the BBC might criticize them after the fact?

Next time the BBC gets caught behind enemy lines just give the nearest camera crew a map and a flash light.

The BBC report has spurred at least one charge by liberal columnist Robert Scheer of the Los Angeles Times that the U.S. military staged the event. Rep. Dennis J. Kucinich, Ohio Democrat and a candidate for president, last week suggested the same and demanded the release of the entire video. Could they arrange a private screening for them in some remote section of Afghanistan ?
If they don't apologize they walk out.

A big, big bump for US Special Operations Command. These are good and honorable warriors in the finest tradition of the American military.
I will believe our guys LONG BEFORE I ever consider anything said by the the likes of the BBC, the LA Times, or cowardly communists like Kucinich.
