I don't think that is a silly question.

No, I don't think they do get paid. I heard Mark Levin talking to Hannity one day about it. Levin said they don't get paid and it wastes a lot of time, makeup, drive time and all that for 5 minutes or less of face time.

If they are a contributor to Fox News, they get paid. If they are a guest, there is no pay.

That's why they also preface the introductions of all the people on the show with either " Contributor of Fox News" or their professional title.

On FOX, when they say "FOX News Contributor," that's the buzzword that means they are getting paid. If they give a FOX News title for them, like "Brit Hume, FOX News Washington Political Manager," It's obvious they're on the steady payroll.

You can bet the dorky broad that Gibson had on supporting Hillary that we've never seen before (With R. Emmet Tyrell, can't remember her name, neither will Hillary remember to sign her checks after that performance) DEFINITELY was not getting paid by FOX.
