Poor babies. They've created a monster...and now they simply can't live with it or keep it under control.
I'm all broke up. Bwaaahhahahaha!

"To a lot of people, that looks unseemly. It looks like he has no life," . . .It looks like it, because it's true. Stop watering the Clintons with media attention and they'd wither on the vine.

A veteran national Democratic strategist said: "[...]We already have enough problems with middle-class voters who think the Democrats as a party lack good morals and values - thanks to the Clintons - and this new stuff just makes it worse."
IMO, this strategist is correct.

Arnie Arnesen, a New Hampshire Democratic activist and ex-gubernatorial candidate, said: "I didn't like Clinton and I wanted him to resign [after the Monica Lewinsky scandal broke]. But at this point, we should be asking people, 'What's worse? A president who lies about sex or a president who takes us to war by lying about weapons of mass destruction?' " Well, Arnie, if President Bush lied about WMD, then President Xlintoon lied about the same WMD when he attacked Iraqi in '98.

Axelrod's client, Sen. John Edwards of North Carolina, a presidential candidate, speaks regularly with Bill Clinton. And Johnny Boy (The Breck Girl), probably thinks Bubba is trying to help him.

clinocchio is an ink dracula. He can't live without newspaper ink. He will NEVER EVER leave the stage.
This is our reward for having him to bare for 8 years.
He gave us the Congress then; the White House now he is busy wrecking the whole rat party.

Absolutely right!
And because Clinton could give a damn about countering terrorists who attacked us with impunity, we're left with the destruction of the WTC, the Pentagon, and 3000 dead Americans scattered throughout the landscape!
What's worse, indeed!

It was certainly true for me. I was one of those independent type voters who never wanted to be called a Republican (can't help it ... it was the way I was raised in a Democrat household). I never liked the Clintons from the time he played the Sax on TV and Hillary did her version of standing by her man on 60minutes. But somewhere in the middle of their tenure in office I'd had my fill of them and I took a fairly hard political right turn.

I'm always suspicious of the Democrats in general and the Clintons, in particular.
In 1998, during the height of Clinton's infamy, conservatives running for office and conservative voters became so engrossed in Clinton's scandals that they did not present a clear agenda to voters. Democrats turned that negative into positive and obliged the conservative feeding frenzy with more and more salacious details of Clinton's shenanigans. Result, Republicans got their clocks cleaned in '98.
I'm wondering if all this Clinton diversionary stuff will result in getting us off the track again. It's certainly taking attention away from the hapless group of Democrats running for President, which for them is a good thing.
I don't think Bush will get pulled down into the mud, but I think all of us have to be sure we don't, either.

The candidates want to talk about 2004 and beyond. But those ubiquitous Clintons are poised to return us to 1998 . . . The Clintons do not want a dem in the WH in 2004. They want Hillary to run as "the candidate for change," the way Bill did back in '92.
They're counting on the economy tanking, and staying tanked, and Republicans being hamstrung by the dems in the House and, especially, the Senate.
The Clintons aren't democrats, they're opportunists. They simply chose the party with supporters stupid enough to buy their li(n)e.
