Drudge withdrew the story within hours of posting it. There are so many substantive questions and comments that one could put to him that I don't think it's wise or proper to ask your question.

I recall this was the guy who was ready to float the "Monica is a stalker" stories before the blue dress surfaced (good thinking, Linda!). So, I really have no sympathy for him. Besides, there's a joke aspect to the "have you stopped beating your wife" comment. It's the classic lawyer trick designed to make you look guilty whether you answer "yes" or "no". Many folks don't take the question literally. Tweaking him about the whole Drudge thing would be funny to me. But, then, I once yelled "No Blood For Sex" at a Clinton rally, so what do I know?
