I agree! I think (hope) reporters are going to crawl all over this book with a fine-toothed comb, exposing every prevarication and contradiction. You forgot the /sarcasm tag

I care because: This monster is planning to run for President - if her spouse is out there all over the place making nice with a lot of other ladies - Hitlery's chances of getting elected is slim and none! You are quite wrong. Bill's infidelities, and his/her enemies reaction to it, is a monster votegetter for her.
Why do you think the Today Show, Barbara Walters, and the New York Times, are all over this minor episode?
It's not because it hurts HRC.
To: OldFriend
Monday morning, it's Katie Couric!!! Yes, it sure is.
Do you think Katie would be so out front with this garbage if it was bad for Hillary?
To: sweetliberty
I agree....I think it is an un-written agreement between the two of them. She probably tells him she could care less who he is sleeping with....just don't get caught.

This is a masterfully crafted script benefitting the Clintons. Bill is portrayed as being a jovial wandering party boy instead of a serious aggressive psychopath. Hillary is presented as an embarrassed victim instead of a knowedgeable enabler and protector of that psychopath. They've pulled it off. Nobody, except myself, seems able to point that out. THIS IS NOT ABOUT MONICA LEWINSKY. IT NEVER HAS BEEN.And it is a fact-a sad fact, to be sure, but a fact-that the more "news" about Bill and Monica can be puffed up by the Clintons friends in the press, the better Hillary will do in 2004.

Katie will do as she is told.......ask the pre determined questions.

I care, it shows she doesn't even have the character to stand up to him or the self respect to leave him.

I am interesting in why we are supposed to be interested. I am NOT interested in Ms. Clinton's private affairs. I'm interested. A public official with such a weak character is susceptible to blackmail. Private flings by public officials are never private. I'm not willing to pay the price for that official to cover up the affair "at any cost". (Give away a secret document here, promote an incompetant there-- pretty soon you have a mess on your hands.) If the official can be so easily controlled and manipulated because he/she has no self-control, what business to they doing safeguarding public interests?
Actors are totally different. They are not representatives of the people. I don't expect to agree with everything my elected Rep says, but I do expect them to have some character.

"The toughest question I had to ask her was, what if he does it again?" Walters revealed to radio host Don Imus, adding, "And that's not in [Hillary's] book." If I were doing the interview, the question would have been "what if he is still doing it"? Does anyone, other than Barbara Wa Wa, girly-boy Sidney, A$$hole Begala and a few other freaks, believe that he has stopped?

In a nation with a 50% divorce rate and the largest proportion of single adults in more than 100 years who screw around promiscuously, the Clintons are serious life style representatives for a large number of people in this nation committed to living and defending such a life style.

I think it is much more likely that she and Bill have "an arrangement" that works to their mutual benefit.Yeah, it's called she's a dyke and he's a man-whore and their marriage is one of political convenience. Chelsea is a by-product of a lost election.

Campbell's spokesman denied a report that his client was canoodling with the ex-president, explaining to the Washington Post last June that the supermodel was instead involved with Mr. Clinton's personal aide, Douglas Band. How lame. The dog ate my homework.

If you were, in fact, not interested in the "NEXT MONICA" you would not have downloaded this article and read it..... If you down loaded it by mistake you would not have responded to it. But you did both.
Point of order.
One does not download an article by clicking on an FR thread.
Downloading is when you save something from the 'Net to your hard drive.
