Don't know what's worse, a week of freeping withdrawal or another week of cruise withdrawal.
We had so much fun! The Free Republic Network events went like clockwork thanks to our great cruise committee, our travel agent, the lovely Wanda, plus the personable Chane from Pretoria, South Africa, who was our group's shepherdess on board. Later, I'll post thanks to the individual committee members and the generous donors of Welcome Bag gifts and other amenities we enjoyed.
By acclamation, our group wants another FRN cruise next year, and so it shall be. Start saving the bread, folks!
I made so many new freeper friends and the bonding with fellow conservatives was worth every penny of the trip. Many thanks to our Captain of the Fleet, Jim Robinson, for creating Free Republic which has made fun and fellowship events like these possible.
More later, but right now, it's early to bed for me. Those late nights in the casino and the midnight buffets were rough (heheh, I loved every minute of it!)
By the way, minutes after the group pic was shot, we serenaded the hundreds of diners right from that same staircase with a freeper choir rendition of "God Bless America" as only we can sing it, yikes! Our ingrained freeping impulses are never on vacation!
