With Colin Powell we were able to talk to his front man and give him a special set of BDU's (battle dress uniform) my husband disigned. Within a week we received a personal hand written note from Mr. Colin Powell thanking us for the outfit and telling us how he enjoyed wearing them while working on his vintage car. We did get to shake his hand and at least say hello.
I forgot to mention I also went to a book signing by Octavia E. Butler who writes very interesting sience fiction books. She signed four of my paper backs and spent a few minutes chatting with my husband and I. Yeah it was a small signing but very enjoyable being able to spend time actually getting to know an author who's work you really enjoy.
I wonder if Hillary's signing will be like cattle moving through an assembly line. We'll see. Shake the hand move along, move along, quickly now

Shake the hand move along, move along, quickly nowEric Shawn on Fox just did a report and they had a clip of hrc arriving at the first bookstore on her tour and making a few comments. They explained how 250 people received wristbands marking them as getting books and Shawn said they would move through a line to have her sign them. They did not show her doing it, though.
He also spoke with a mother and son who had purchased the book and he had them display the signed page. Eric Shawn did ask the mother if she believes what's in the book and the woman replied "I choose to".
