"I thought of that, too, until I noted the date on the death certificates:"

Is there an online access to the death certificates? If so would you post a link? Thanks

I'm not sure--I was going by the first article posted on the thread.

Contra Costa County will send out certified copies of the Death Certificate for $20.

That April 21st. date gave them a little over a week from the time the bodies were found to the time they issued the "undetermined" cause of death. The autopsy lasted, what, another month? The autopsy is bound to contain something about the cause of death that is not in the DC. The defense is crying about a "fair trial" when discussing the unsealing of the autopsy but didn't even let out a wimper regarding the DC.

RE: Death records online. California made more laws...

This notice or one similar precedes every county site that used to provide an index of birth and death records.

NOTICE: The passage of SB1614 by the California Legislature, signed by
Governor Davis on September 20, 2002, provides that ALL
Birth and Death Indexes for the County must be removed from the Internet by January 1, 2003. The State of California hopes the enactment of Senate Bill 1614 will protect
the public from identity theft/fraud. Additionally, we have removed Marriage Record Indexes from our web page. We apologize for any inconvenience.
