I do agree with your reply which is to state the obvious to most of us. I was just parroting something I heard on the news by some doctor..I think Wecht or Baden said that there was not date of death on the death certificate because there was no birth certificate. It made me wonder then, if a child is stillborn does it get any kind of certificate?

You ask; "If a child is still born does it get any kind of certificate?" I am almost positive it does. A friend of mine's daughter had a still born. It was born, but not alive. If I remember correctly they had to give the baby a name to put on the birth certificate and then a death certificate would have been issued. I know they gave the infant a funeral.
