Anyone who is too stupid to understand the difference between taking pride in one's ancestry--the Fifth Commandment in the Christian & Judaic worlds--and taking pride in a disability/perversion or whatever--should not be on a taxpayer supported payroll. Any political party that would take up--as an issue--the idea that there should be a celebration of perversion, should not expect a very bright future.

All of that said, why is this issue just surfacing in 2003? What happened in 2001 & 2002? I am glad to know that Ashcroft has now stopped this mockery of traditional values. But did he allow it to go on the previous two years?

Complain, complain, complain. That's all you Libertarian/pseudo conservatives do.

I guess it hasn't occured to you that for the last two years that Ashcroft has built credibility and the liberal press has lost it, especially with the New York Times self inflicted implosion, showing to the general public that the New York Times are the liars they are.

If Ashcroft had done this on Jan. 21, 2001, the New York Times would have run an above the fold article castigating Ashcroft. Now due to the New York Times's self inflicted implosion, it is just a blip.

Whatever, Ohioan, castigate your allies for not being "perfect" enough. You all just marginalize yourselves further, IMO.
