Washington -- Attorney General John Ashcroft ignited a new controversy over his agency's treatment of gays and lesbians Friday after he refused to allow Justice Department employees to hold an annual event celebrating "gay pride month" at the agency's headquarters.

We are celebrating "regularity month" in July at the office. We are planning workshops on the proper use of toilet tissue, laxatives and enemas, as well as increasing roughage in the diet.

I don't see how he is lying. This is a orientation based group, he is not giving any orientation based groups any special treatment. He has not given anything to any heterosexual group.

To note, even gay groups acknowledge there is a difference between ethnicity and orientation, as they are forced to, in terms of differentiation as it is a part of there argument.

Bush is taking exactly the tack about 90% of Freepers want him to take, and I think it's the proper one.
