Yeah, right. I'm sure we'll be seeing massive amounts of black voters crossing over to vote Republican in 2004!

We don't expect the black voters to come over to the Republican side. We would welcome them, but they won't come. But remember this, even though they won't come, they won't vote at all. Hey, that's OK...

That's what I mean, where they gonna go? The DNC can tick them off all they want because they know they won't switch to Republican. But I suppose the counter-argument to that is that they may not go Republican but some might stay home. So, goody, I guess you're right. Tick 'em off some more, DNC!

Mulhall says the DNC has hired eight new staffers, five of whom are Black, including a Black press secretary. He says there will still be layoffs over the coming weeks, but there will be fewer than 10 and not all of them will be Black. But Brazile remains cautious. I'd read this in a news item a few days ago, AP I believe.
The piece I read indicated, as I recall, that these hirings had taken place immediately before or immediately after the planned "lay-offs."
Even the info in thie article, referring to eight new hirings, begs the question: why would they hire eight new people and then plan a "lay-off" of ten or more (lay-offs allegedly because of financial considerations)?
Missing from this picture is clearly a component they are not revealing---and it is their right not to, I guess---of performance issues and terminations of people for issues other than financial. That is the only thing that could explain how they would hire people while simultaneously planning the "laying-off" of others, right? (Assuming they simply did not KNOW the financial straits when hiring the "eight" new people.) Did they fire some people, and the eight new-hires were backfilling those positions?
In and of itself, firings, or "lay offs" for PERFORMANCE issues would not be an issue unless it is disproportionately black, and that would also not be an issue except for the fact that we are talking about an outfit whose leaders are ostensibly so sensitive to and driven by absolute numerical quotas above all other hiring and firing considerations.

This was handled so badly and so publicly that my tin foil hat started to twitch. Part of hillary's master plan that no 'Rat gets elected in '04 so she can save the party in '08.
Any non-'Rat who tried this would have been immediately branded as a rascist by the entire 'Rat family and their PR firm of ABCBSNBCNNNYTWP.
Gotta believe that Terry thought all those dark faces were turning off the whites and scaring the sh*t out of the Hispanics.
Terry was trying to reduce percentage of blacks to 13% - sorta like in proportion to total population. However, if 90% of blacks vote 'Rat, they should comprise approx 25% of the DNC. I think Donna Brazille should insist on it.

Time for the Afro-Americans to step to the end of the pork line behind all the Mexicans.
Upper income blacks will claim to vote Dem but quietly vote for Republicans.
Lower income blacks don't vote much..

I don't see that happening, but it would seem the Dems are ticking off the black voters which is not a smart move I think the Dems could tick everyone of them off individually, and still get their votes. Kind of sucks, huh?

You live with quotas, you die with quotas... Time for Dem party to die. When they look at a person, the ONLY thing they see is color. To them character doesn't count for anything.

The Black Dems in TX are fighting among themselves now. And the funny thing is it's over redistricting--I wasn't paying much attention so, like Hillary, I don't recall what it was all about.

I'm sure we'll be seeing massive amounts of black voters crossing over to vote Republican in 2004! We don't need massive amounts. If 5 percent switch and 5 percent make a point of staying home, the Dems are done.
And let it be said that conservative principles -- that God exists and freedom is His gift -- is very appealing to most blacks.
And don't forget the the factual points which should inceasingly be pointed out:
Black public schools which are administrated according to leftist philosophy, are disasters
Majority black cities which are governed according to leftist philosophy, are pretty bad places to live.
