*L* I do truly believe you. Great minds definitely. Look out Hollywood, ODC-GIRL and I are taking over casting! Seriously, if they have an inkling of a clue remaining, reason and reality shouldn't be a difficult concept to grasp.

Ahhh, but do they have a clue? They still seem to operate on the misconception that Americans LIKE to have their current and former Presidents (ones that won in landslides even) bashed and torn up. I sometimes think that they are so completely out of touch with the rest of us that they will never understand us. Of course, we are partly to blame for going to see the drek they put out there. I do my best to avoid things I don't want to support or don't approve of. Took my kids to see Finding Nemo, despite my dislike of both Disney and Ellen Degeneres. Was actually surprised at the lack of a PC message being shoved down my throat.
Maybe we could start a casting company "HMMMMM and ODC Casting" kind of has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?

How come at Amazon the book is 384 pages and on Barnes and Noble the book is over 400 pages? I think they had it at about 430 pages.

It has a great ring to it! And you're correct in that we are somewhat to blame, at least we were. We have a voice now and I can't imagine our ever being without it again.

Fascinating. The number one selling book at Amazon is about a wizard and the number two selling book is about a witch.

Pre-publication info is seldom accurate. As long as the book shows the same ISBN (0743223594) on the book description page -- like this one on amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ISBN=0743223594/sugar-20 it's the same book.
The book isn't being released until October, so I doubt it's even through the final edits yet, which means the publisher doesn't even know for sure yet how many pages the book is going to have. (The contract usually specifies an agreed word count, but that can change up or down depending on whether or not the editor requests more explanation or asks for certain sections be trimmed.)
That help?

Ordered Reflections. So sometime in October, I guess, the door bell will ring and I'll go "What in the world?"
To: Fawnn
Ohhh, THAT makes sense. Thanks!!! It definitely helps.

I remember thinking that it was great to know that my family wasn't the only one that had these conservative viewpoints, when I discovered talk radio years ago. It was so refreshing. Now I simply cannot abide news channels, except for FOX and even they get it wrong sometimes, at all anymore. I keep trying, don't know why, but within minutes, I'm flipping the channel, so that I don't get too steamed. If I want news, I'll look it up on like-minded sites here on the web, thank you very much.

I agree re the news. (I get upset that Fox News gives the DIMocRATcomplainers so much air time, like playing Byrd's tantrums over and over again, etc. I think it's getting worse, like all the left complaints about them has made them paranoid about remaining fair and balanced so they're going out of their way to show "the other side." Either that or the Republicans need to schedule more "sound bite" opportunities!)
