1. Muslims are told by their koran to kill all infidels.
2. Muslims kill anyone with whom they don't agree (infidels, which includes other muslims with whom they don't agree) via terrorism and other means, ON A DAILY BASIS.
2. No muslims have taken a stand against terrorism; they are either silent on the subject, or they celebrate in the streets after every terrorist "success"!
3. Silence is acquiescence, acquiescence is support, just as celebrating in the streets is support.
4. "Moderate muslim" is one who lies to your face about their "politics", i.e. their stand on killing infidels - (remember the koran tells muslims to lie to infidels, too!).
5. The unfortunately clear solution (with sincerest - !! - apologies to the American Indian!!) is to play "cowboys and muslims"!
If any muslim in this country starts the crap they're perpetrating in Israel, e.g. gets on a bus loaded with American schoolchildren and blows themselves up, liberal pondscum can pass bigotry, not collect $200, and go directly to an oppression of muslims which would make REAL bigotry look politically correct. This oppression would be fully deserved and virtually requested by these muslims through their own, self-incriminating action or lack of action!
Like I said above, "cowboys and muslims".....

Why point out that he's in "a traditionally conservative" area? Are "conservative" people more or less likely to be bigots in the writers mind? It's gotta be one way or the other, else it wouldn't have been included in the piece.
But his new stats show only 15 hate crimes and lesser incidents involving Middle Easterners and Muslims in all of 2002, compared with about seven a year during the 1990s.
Was that 15 crimes plus an unnamed number of "lesser incidents", or was the number a total? Could any of the increase be attributed to greater sensitivity to comments leading to more reports of incidents? Combining the numbers could end up with 7 murders in a year in the 90's as statistically "better" than a year where there was one murder and 14 incidents of Muslims being called towel heads.
