PHOTO: Hillary Rodham Clinton's memoir offers a different timeline of events than Sidney Blumenthal's "The Clinton Wars" and Peter Baker's "The Breach." (Dennis Cook - AP)
In "Living History," memoirist Hillary Rodham Clinton describes her gut-wrenching reaction on the Saturday morning of Aug. 15, 2000, when her husband "told me for the first time" -- as quoted by the Associated Press from a leaked copy of the much-hyped but still unreleased $8 million book -- "that there had been an inappropriate intimacy" with White House intern Monica Lewinsky.
But two recent volumes -- our Post colleague Peter Baker's "The Breach" and former White House aide Sidney Blumenthal's "The Clinton Wars" -- appear to differ with Sen. Clinton's account of President Bill Clinton's shocking admission and its aftermath.
"I could hardly breathe," the AP quotes the dramatic narrative by New York's junior senator. "Gulping for air, I started crying and yelling at him, 'What do you mean? What are you saying? Why did you lie to me?' I was furious and getting more so by the second. He just stood there saying over and over again, 'I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I was trying to protect you and Chelsea.' "

Sgt. Schultz may not know anything, but at least he was a likable character.
Hillary is nothing more than PT Barnum in pearls.

Now with her protectors in the liberal media falling apart - Raines and Boyd just quit the NY Slimes - little Hitlery might just have to fend for herself.

I wonder if this is the kind of publicity she expected from her grand launching?
The first words about her book are disputed.

I would say Hitlery is of the PR school that considers all publicity valuable, and insists only that you spell her name right.

The first words about her book are disputed. This might get interesting.
If Simon & Schuster published provably fabricated information....... what does that remind you of?

Raines and Boyd just quit the NY Slimes - little Hitlery might just have to fend for herself. She'll never be able to do it
Hellary can't handle confrontations .. which is why she always goes into hiding till the storm settles down.
I hear that the interview with Barbara Walters was done at the Clinton's place in NY .. maybe we'll see what furniture they have yet too return

This has been a Fox News alert.
