My thoughts too. Also wouldn't this place be kinda stinky if there were decomposing bodies? I also recall that about 14 persons were reportedly in the building when it went ka-boom.

Of course. The fact that they are just "getting around" to excavating what should have been the most important site of the war proves that they know nothing is there. what have they been doing all these weeks?
