Illegal Irish immigrants have been working on construction sites in New York City for years. One reason is that the contractor gets a superior product in addition to cost savings -- the training system for tradesmen in Ireland is so outstanding that the same guy who does carpentry work from Monday through Wednesday can also do electrical work on Thursday and plumbing on Friday. See, that's my point, illegal immigration will continue as long as there is demand for cheap labor and greedy business, politicians, media, and others support it.
See, that's my point, illegal immigration will continue as long as there is demand for cheap labor and greedy business, politicians, media, and others support it. That pretty much sums it all up, doesn't it?
Though I would add one more thing -- much of the underlying demand for cheap labor comes from American consumers!
