Amid a swirl of speculation about Democrats running for the U.S. Senate, at least one Democrat has definitrly ruled herself out as a candidate. Secretary of State Cathy Cox has told friends she has absolutely no interest in seeking the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Zell Miller

This was about the single-strongest candidate the 'Rats could put up in GA without scaring the straights. They still have a few first-tier names, but none apparently Caucasian.
