Go to Vegas sometime. Because of the relaxed morality of legalized prostitution, there are hookers everywhere.

Prostitution is illegal in Vegas, hence you see them outside.

Go to surrounding counties where its legal, and presto, they're all in brothels.

Oh and the 'relaxed morality' theory has this one flaw: there are prostitutes in almost every major and mid sized city on Earth.

When I was in Costa Rica, my friend pointed out to me that while prosititution was legal in many cities there (regulated and in brothels), it was illegal in her own city. As a result, I saw several prostitutes in the town square, even right in front of the Church!
