I walk by this guy every day. His elevator does not go all the way to the top.

I wonder if he gets a tax cut?
To: presidio9
"Dollar in the boot -- no room in the underwear," he says, if the visitor fails to take the hint from the word "Tips" and the dollar signs painted on his white boots. He says he takes in $700 to $1,000 on an average day."
Where can I sign up for a job like this?

Based on your screen name, I'm guessing you probably have the uniform already.

If he has on underpants and boots, he's no more nekkid than - well, he's not nekkid.

Walking around Times Square in nothing but tightie-whities is plenty nekkid enough.

He says he takes in $700 to $1,000 on an average day. IRS on the way

Have the boots, but not the body or a hat. But for $300,000 a year, I'll get both. Yea right!

He's only out there about 100 days out of the year, and I'm be suprised if he takes in half of what he says.
To: presidio9
I can tell by his outfit, that he ain't no cowboy...

Not at all. Swim thongs cover even less.
This guy is a piker compared to the Naked
Student who actually attended classes for a
time at Stanford (?), including in the winter.

The "Naked Student" (better known as "The Naked Guy") actually attended UC Berkeley. When I first moved to the East Bay, I spotted him a couple of times on Telegraph Avenue. Eventually the University got embarassed by him and threw him out; nobody seems to have heard from the guy in the last few years.

At least he's not sitting on a milk crate - that's a crime in NYC and he'd get a ticket for it.

I don't think the 'Naked Cowboy' would spit on Cindy Sheehan! Fix her up with 'Moondog'! Remember him?
To: presidio9
He says he takes in $700 to $1,000 on an average day. That's $182,000 - $260,000 a year. For playing and singing in your underwear in Times Square. Not a bad living -- even in NYC -- for completely surrendering your self-respect!
