First, the pre-Millennium Period in late 1999. UBL operatives planned a series of attacks against US and allied targets designed to exploit the millennium celebrations planned around the world. CIA and FBI worked closely and successfully to defeat these terrorist plans.

Hmmm....as I recall, Project Megiddo was where our intelligence agencies were putting their resources in 1999. Crazed Christians, Freeh and Reno thought, were going to blow stuff up to usher in the year 2000. But who knows. Maybe they were and the professionals in the Clinton administration stopped them.
