Yes. And there have not been any successful attacks in the USA since 911. You seem to be blaming the victim for fighting back. They started this, we did not. If we had not gone into Afghanistan, the Al Qaeda terror machine would still be humming along on all four cylinders. It is now sputtering on 2 cylinders. Yes, they could still inflict harm, but they are not as organized and potent as they were. And that IS the SUCCESS that you seem to jeer. If we had not gone into Iraq, Al Qaeda would have been successful in getting Afghanistan-II off the ground. That we disrupted that is also a SUCCESS.
