Back in 1986 I was about to have knee surgery on my left knee. I was watching Freddie Blassie on TV and he was illustrating how both of his knees had been rebuilt. That scared the hell out of me. Anyway all went well with me, but I'll always remember old Freddie whenever I think of knee surgery.

I remember when Blassie first came to the East Coast in the early 1970s, wrestling for the then-WWWF. He had quite a feud going with Bruno Sammartino in those days.

I was sad when I heard this. He was just on RAW, about weeks ago too, doing a guest spot. He called for Devon to "Get the table!!!". RIP, Freddie.
