Capitalism once again beats socialism! Liberal attempts to force popular conservative opinion off the air to make room for their unwanted hate speech results in more freedom to air conservative programming than ever! Celebrate!

Expect at least a few despondent, lie-filled, crazed rants from the left as incoherent as the ones they spewed out after Election Day 2002. They should be pretty funny to watch.

I don't see how permitting a few large corporations to buy up media licenses and dominate the airwaves is necessarily a good thing for getting the conservative viewpoint out, especially since most large media corporations are generally accused of having a "liberal media bias".

I think Georgie Stephanophalous (sp?...like I really care?) talked a bit about this on his show on Sunday. Guess which side of the argument his questions came from? (I can't remember who he was interviewing....I turned it off after about 30 sec of questions like, "Well, don't you think that this will actually stiffle the voice of the little guy?"...Gee Georgie, have you dropped ALL pretenses of impartiality now?) < /rant>

Because they want to make money more than they want to spread The Liberal Gospel.

All you really need to know is that 95% of the complaints the FCC got about this proposal were from the left. They're the ones going nuts over this. They're the ones that are scared, because they know that their ideas cannot complete in a free marketplace.

By the way, the rules were relaxed, not completely eliminated. And there was a good chance that if this decision had not been made, a media company would have filed suit and taken it to the Surpreme Court, where ALL restrictions would quite possibly have been ruled unconstitutional.

I don't think it's a liberal or conservative bias anymore, all seem to have a globalist bias, as would be expected if controlled by multinational corporations.

This decision may help further conservative opinions because even though the media is dominated by liberals, any media businessman worth his salt knows that true industry growth lies in conservative programming. (Especially in radio - that is why a liberal Rush does not, nor ever will exist - the dollars are not there from the advertisers to support any liberal programming...)
