I've learned that the people you care most about in life are taken from you too soon and all the less important ones just never go away.

I think the Rochas allowed their anger to get the best of them and there may be undesirable consequences for their breaking into the house. That house is potentially a crime scene and whatever they did to disturb its contents could be later construed as tampering with, planting or destroying evidence.

It is Scott’s house of course! The high and mighty son. I too have in-laws that refer to our house (my husband's and mine) as "my sons house" all the time, it is part of being ignorant.

It was no longer a crime scene. The police had already released it. What other legalities might ensue, I don't know. Some lawyers have said it's not Scott's house while he is accused of murder (if he's exonerated, then it can be)--but some folks here feel otherwise. I'm not a lawyer, so I just read along.
