the more Dems in the race, the easier it is for no one to have a majority at the Dem convention, then they can do either a draft Gore, or a draft Hillary.

Did not Biden bow out of the dems primary several years ago because he lied on a test? Or have got him mixed up with somebody else? I guess Clinton lowered the bar for the Dems it really does not matter anymore.

Hasn't he said this for the last 4 or 5 election cycles? Seems like it.

Run Joe, Run.
This puppy carries so much baggage that it will be a pleasure to see his butt whipped.
From today's editorial in the Washington Times:
At a nasty Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing last week, Sen. Joe Biden, the panel's ranking Democrat, berated Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz, who broached the subject of Iraq's immense oil reserves, the world's second-largest. As Mr. Wolfowitz attempted to discuss the role that will be played by Iraq's oil resources, Mr. Biden interrupted him, demanding to know, "What are the resources?" Then, Mr. Biden launched into his trademark lecture: "For us just to get to the point where we're talking about 1 million barrels per day export," the senator sneered, "there's going be a need for a $5 billion investment in the oil fields to get to that point."
Four days later, the New York Times, citing Thamir Ghadhban, the interim head of the Iraqi Oil Ministry, reported that Iraqi oil production had reached 800,000 barrels per day. By mid-June, Mr. Ghadhban projected, daily oil output would total 1.4 million barrels, of which 1 million would be exported. Relying mostly on equipment provided by a Halliburton subsidiary and Iraq's well-regarded petroleum technical staff " which has performed awe-inspiring production feats since 1997 in the face of years of sanctions " Iraq's oil output could reach 3 million barrels per day by year's end, Mr. Ghadhban predicted.

U.S. Sen. Joe Biden, D-France, admitted in 1987 he plagiarized part of a law school paper in 1965. He copied five pages from a law review in a 15-page paper without citing the source while at Syracuse University Law School. While running as a Democratic presidential candidate in 1987, he also used quotations in speeches from former British Labor Party leader Neil Kinnock and the late Sen. Robert F. Kennedy without giving them credit.

Sounds good. They might as well add a plagiarist into the mix. His song and dance didn't fly the last time he tried, and it won't now. Just ask Neil Kinnock.....

I see Biden as the equivalent of a Hail Mary pass thrown by some desperate Dem donors. The big money guys must be apoplectic when they look at the flopfest going on with the candidates they have now. Apparently, the candidate that would have universal appeal to Democrats is Saddam Hussein, judging by the anger the Dems still have, over his ouster.I've never seen Biden where he didn't appear to be smug and nasty. He has a lot of baggage-venomous towards Clarence Thomas during his confirmation hearings, against Bush bombing Afghanistan- said the US would look like " high tech bullies",notoriously rude to witnesses appearing before his committees, etc. But,he does have the prerequisite family tragedy, that the Dems always love to exploit-his first wife and baby girl were killed in a car crash in 1972 and Biden was left with 2 small sons to raise. He also has some health issues-he had a cerebral aneurysm and brain surgery in 1988 and had a long recuperation, due to post op complications.

It is quite a problem to decide which of the 9 or 10 RATS is the worst, but old Biden has to be among the top three or four. He's not only a libRAT, he's a stupid one too. His ridiculous performance during the Impeachment "trial' gave him away as an idiot forever.
