Everything that comes out of Schumers mouth is a lie. He believes in the Constitution when in fact he wants to shread it. He wants moderate judges that won't legislate from the bench when in fact he wants them to legislate from the bench because that is the only way for the dems to further their agenda. I could go on, but I only get angrier.

Amazing, isn't it? And all old melon-head does is to defer to "his friend Schumer."

Does anyone know if Mara Liasson is still on vacation or if FNC hasn't renewed her contract?

This would be my argument with the Dems about those lower incomes not qualifying for the tax cut... They can always introduce it and vote for it...

I found myself yelling at "Chucklehead" when he had the gall to start going on about his love and respect for the Constitution! And how he can't allow judges like Estrada, because they would become "activist jurists, making laws from the bench" (paraphrased). Typical demonRAT... The pot calling the kettle black! This is what we do, so let's accuse them of it!

And he just keeps on talking and talking and talking!

I found it funny that he agreed with Marshall and then had some exemption with Estrada just because he hasn't sat on a bench? Whatever...

I'm not sure if I'm smart enough to understand the numbers that you've put out. Is the real record that, yes, the Senate has confirmed 126 of 128 judges that have had hearings, but that there are more than 100 judges whose hearings have been bottled up by the Democrats?

We keep hearing 126 of 128 and the Republicans don't seem to be disputing this. What's the real story?

I find it funny the Dems aren't questioning Clinton willing to bomb Iraq... in fact Clinton did for a week in 1998... Why did Clinton bomb them if the Dems believe Iraq didn't have them?

You just gotta love the way Brit nailed Juan Williams on the WMD issue!

Details please. My husband had control of the tv this morning. Think they just keep Juan on so Brit can pound on him. I love it.

Yup. It's been my contention that the anti-war types are really anti-Bush/Republican. No protest over Clinton's various wag-the-dog wars to keep his crimes out of the spotlight, yet Bush gets the whole world riled up when he fights back against attacks on our nation and countrymen that left over 3,000 dead. It's not just democrats, but socialists world-wide that hate Bush. I'm glad he presses on doing the right thing despite their venomous attacks.

I LOVE your graphic # 5, I think.

Little Georgie Steph was in rare form today, so hoping to play "gotcha" with McCain and Dodd on WMD not being found.

McCain said: Remember, victory in the Iraq war reignites the possibility that President Bush might lead us to finding peace for Israel, and going to war against Iraq is what made this current peace initiative possible.

Georgie Steph says to McCain you predicted flatly we would find WMDs. whadaya say now?

McCain says, the day I saw those 9 year old boys released from prison, was the day I saw our reasons for going war in Iraq completely validated. His point was, whether we ever find WMDs, this war was justified.

Dodd says; I supported the war, but a full explanataion of why we haven't found WMDs. will have to be investigated. But sounding very supportive of Bush, Dodd says Iraq had WMDs, used em, and would have the capacity to use em again, and it was a justified war. But we are going to have to get the answers why WMD haven't been found.

Clearly Dodd, who freely admitted voting for the war, said more than once, that the senate needs to investigate whether or not intelligence was politicized by Rumsfeld.

McCain won't commit whether Intelligence was politicized about WMDs. He says he doesn't know, he's not on the Intelligence Committee, but He believed Saddam had those weapons. "There was ample evidence" McCain said, and anyone who makes the charge that this administration politicized intelligence in order to justify going to war, must prove it.

Wow, little Georgie is trying soooo hard to get the two senators to accuse the CIA and Rumsfeld of manufacturing political intelligence about WMDs. No soap. Regardless of the pre-war intelligence, says Dodd, the war was justified. And I for one am going to remember that Senator Dodd said that.

Georgie, practically sneering asks; Did Saddam really present an imminent threat to the United States? Huh???what you say senators????

Dodd says "yes" (in many more words), and McCain says (his condescending "you're a jackass Georgie" tone), "so what if we don't find any WMDs, what's to say if Saddam had been left in place, if we hadn't gone to war, that Saddam wouldn't have gotten more, like he did in the past? And use them? Both senators unequivically answered Georgie in the affirmative. YES, WE WENT TO WAR BECAUSE SADDAM PRESENTED AN IMMINENT DANGER TO THE USA. I'm remembering that one too.

Here is where I got the data.

http://judiciary.senate.gov/

I cannot find any explanation of the 127 number. It is one line on the page and the rest of the page refers to a breakdown of what is going on with 87 nominees.

I have a feeling that the 127 refers to the entire GWB presidency: 107th and 108th congress.

I would like to hear Hatch explain why 55 of 60 nominees currently on the president's list have not had committee hearings!
