Wiithholding the information for a bit alows us to make certain that our evidence is correct. I imagine there are plenty of items with French and German fingerprints. Chirac is getting a one-on-one meeting with W today. I wonder if he will be informed of what we have found.
I notice Putin didn't even bring up that topic with the President.

You would actually turn on a program that offered Hatch and Schumer? Don't you have an interest in life? Children, a hobby, gardening, perhaps? I've got it. Read a book. Even a bad book is better than the lineup of Hatch and Schumer, or McCain and Dodd, or anyof the scores of humpty-dumptys that people our Senate.

Yes, the same tired faces and the same tiresome tripe.
McCain will spend his face-time trying to justify his NO vote on our tax rebate! I can hear him now, "Iraq war (although necessary and I support it) the costs of reconstruction necessitated my NO vote regarding the President's tax package."

Yes, late in the segment, a very articulate caller pointed out the headline error, which should have given Steve the opportunity to apologize, or at least explain, how so many anti-war callers in a row, were allowed on the air.
But regardless of the headline, the screener had to know all those consecutive callers expressed opposition to the war. Steve is the least offensive C-Span host, but he sure was inattentive to fairness today.

You just gotta love the way Brit nailed Juan Williams on the WMD issue!
To: Chi-townChief
How did he do it? Fill us TV-deprived folk in on the details, please!

Let's remember that the UN was fully prepared to wait for months and years for their inspectors to find WMD's.
But NNNNNOOOOOO....now that there's a chance they can smear 'W' and the US they want them NOW!
Stuff it, a-holes!

One comment on FNS was that the Congress said nothing to dispute the facts that there are WMD before the war. The evidence is there. If there were none, why would SH have risked all?

I enjoyed the shot of Brit just shaking his head at Juan's statements.

Basically, Brit just chronicled the events from when the weapons inspectors were kicked out of Iraq in '98 to Saddam's dodging earlier this year and how Juan must believe that, in those five years, Saddam destroyed the weapons on his own but then didn't want anyone to know he did it so we could come kick his ass.

This latest headline grabbing story about the tax cuts excluding lower-income taxpayers was discussed by Rush Friday.
As he put it, Voionivich and Co. were the ones insistent that the total "cost" not exceed $350b. 'W' would have been happy to include those lower-income taxpayers, but they chose to draw the line somwhere.
Anyone know more about this?

If they have the evidence, why aren't they presenting it? I'm sure there's a reason...but I don't see what it can be. Any ideas? Have you ever watched Godfather II?
I believe that we have found massive amounts of WMD's. Our intelligence services are incredible, but it serves their purpose to not have people know just how effective they are until the time is right.
I think that Bush is setting up the Democrats for a massacre of biblical proportions. What has not happened yet, is for all of the important Democrats to go on the record calling Bush a liar over WMD's. If you notice, the smarter Democrats (Hillary) have said absolutly NOTHING about this.
Blair is under more pressure, so he almost let the cat out of the bag yesterday. We have the weapons, and when we have cataloged them and documented them, beyond any ability to draw other conclusions, we will release the information, and invite other countries to examine our data.
When this happens, every Democrat or Liberal that suggested a coverup, lie or misdeed is going to be so discredited that they will vanish from the discussion. When will it happen? Probably right before or after the Democratic Convention next year. It will be the shot heard round the world. Democrats will be picking up dead political bodies for years to come.
