Was it Nixon who had a secret plan to win the Vietnam War? And was it Dukakis who had a secret plan to revive the economy? Politicians and secret plans go hand in hand, right down the hole.

Bush and Blair had a secret plan to win the Iraq war -- and they won the war!

There wasn't anything secret about their plan to invade Iraq.

You switch context of the word plan to suit your need.

Everybody knew that Nixon had a plan to win the Vietnam War. It was the specifics of the plan that was secret. Likewise everybody knew that Blair and Bush planned to invade Iraq. It was the specifics of the plan that was secret.

Why don't you quit play cute word games and come right out and say that you don't believe Blair and Bush have secret information abount WMD finds in Iraqi?

You're the one playing word games. Don't trust politicians who have secret information to CYA but can't tell you just now, no matter how strongly you wish to be misled.

If you have studied the NVA "take" on Linebacker II and the "Christmas bombing" you get the sense that the NVA have conceded that the bombing nearly lost them the strategic war.

Nixon's secret strategy was to fight to win. This is one lesson that Republican presidents have applied repeatedly.
