Hillary Clinton "Too Tired" To Run For President
Press Republican ^

Posted on 05/31/2003 12:42:04 PM PDT by rs79bm

PLATTSBURGH — Although speculation remains alive that U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton may yet wind up as the Democratic Party’s candidate for president next year, she says she doesn’t lie awake at night dreaming of becoming the first woman president.

Partly because she’s too tired.

"I don’t think like that. I’m so exhausted when I get in bed at night that I immediately pass out,’’ she laughed during an interview with the Press-Republican Editorial Board Friday afternoon.

On a serious note, though, Clinton said she is not thinking of a White House run at this time, even though prominent Democrats such as former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean, a presidential candidate himself, say she would make a good leader.

"(Dean is) a friend of mine, and he’s been a very good governor, and I very much appreciate his kind words, but he, and the other people in this race, are going to determine who the next president is going to be,’’ she said.

"Three years ago I didn’t even know I would be sitting here as a senator. ... Right now I am just so interested in what I am learning and the whole process that I’m a part of now.’’

No matter who the Democratic candidate is, Clinton believes her party has a chance to recapture the White House even though polls show President George W. Bush with high popularity ratings.

"It’s hard right now. The atmosphere is so dominated by the administration for obvious reasons, but I do believe evidence and results actually do count for something, and eventually, the president will be held accountable for many of the decisions that he and his colleagues have made over the last several years,’’ Clinton said.

"The country pretty much is divided 50-50, so I think we actually have a good chance. I think that it will come down to turnout.’’

Yes, there are a lot of one liners possible.

Screwing the sheeple (out of everything they own) is really hard work.

Not to worry!! Hillie simply has to suck the blood from a couple of Republican babies and sieze the homes of the elderly widows of successful businessmen to turn them into crack houses for potential dem voters and she'll be back to feeling like her old self.

Unless that's her excuse for not having sex with the serial sex offender, perjurer and convicted felon she sleeps with.

I wonder how many nights the two are even under the same roof together? Not many, IMO.

That explains how she was able to get someone to impregnate her with Chelsea.

Ok, now let`s put that statement through the Hitlery translator. How does this translator work? It`s a computer programmed to spit out the exact opposite of everything Hitlery says because that`s all that is needed when one translates the words of Hitlery. INPUT: "Hitlery says she is too tired to run for dictator, I mean President" ENTER> processing.....processing.......processing .....processing.......processing *BING* OUTPUT: "Hitlery stays awake all night pacing the floor on how she will conquer GW Bush in 2004. She is so eager she wears a bucket on the side of her face to catch the drool from salivating, she also screams at Bubba everyday to get the 22nd amendment changed so she can be supreme ruler of the US forever."

but he, and the other people in this race, are going to determine who the next president is going to be,’’ she said.

I find this comment very telling. Why would the people in the race determine who the next president is going to be? Isn't it the voters who do this?
