Am I the only one who is sick and tired of the wall-to-wall coverage of this case?

Personally I am tired of it too. But this was the case with Chandra Levy until 9/11 happened. The media has nothing else to report right now. These are both horrible tragedies that were pounded into our brain by the media!

I am not sure why the cable news channels pick a crime a season and just drive it into the ground. Makes me crazy. I turn them off everything they bring it up.I've totally stopped watching the "news" channels because of it. It's no wonder they don't keep their audiences; all of the stations insist on soap opera stuff and having broadcaster's personalities and hype be more important than a serious, thorough, objective investigation of world and national affairs.

I turn off TV the moment they bring up the subject.
Speaking of beating an issue to death, down here in Arizona, I've gotten sick and tired of all the goings on about Laura Piestuwa (sp?) "the first female, American Indian soldier killed in combat."
Gov. Napolitano is milking that woman's death for all she can. At the same time she is threatening to veto a bill designed to eliminate voter fraud.

From
this article......
The longer it goes, the better chance the 7-foot All-Star has of making it back. Doctors initially said the injury requires 10-14 days to heal; today will be the sixth day since he was hurt. A seventh game would be Saturday night, or eight days into the healing process.
They've done alright without him....so far.

It's called "capitalism". The demands of the marketplace. Channels are covering it 24/7 since it pulls huge ratings ... means more $$$ for stockholders. Hard-core pornography would pull even bigger ratings. Are you suggesting they program hard-core porn in search of more money? Simply because it draws ratings is not a reason to broadcast it.
