Am I the only one who is sick and tired of the wall-to-wall coverage of this case?

Well, children will be children after all. Anybody that has any doubts about them (the UN) at this point hasn't been paying attention.

If it was we'd have masses of people complaining. Heck of a lot of people complaining here!

As sad as it is that these 2 seemingly fine folks lost there lives you would think with all that is going on in the world they would inform us of it .
I suspect that you know what big media really is and considering the soap opera instant gratification society ( Parts of it ) that we live in , the only change I see coming is when the next twisted malcontent does this to his family .
It is a pathetic commentary if you ask me but they will have the story to shove down some people's throats again .

Gosh.... I gave some options for news that would take the coveraage off of the Laci/Scott Peterson tabloid news coverage (post 141) but no one seemed to take me seriously.
Well, OK.... no one had to. *L*
Late on the east coast.
You all have a terrific night!!!!

Scott Peterson overload made the Amazing Race 4 premier seeom interesting.
To: BunnySlippers
For every one that complains here, how many do you think simply change the channel in disgust in flyover country?
What you and your gay friends watch while waiting for the Christopher Lowell show may not what the rest of America is interested in.

As soon as the networks started with this murder-of-the-month crap right after the war, I knew it was time to tear myself away from 24 hour war news coverage and return to the real world again.
I absolutely hate the murder mystery "news coverage." Whenever it comes on, I immediately reach for the remote, or turn the TV off altogether.

Scott Peterson overload made the Amazing Race 4 premier seem interesting. That's cause Amazing Race IS interesting (IMHO). It's one of the 3 reality shows I actually watch & like (Survivor & American Idol being the other two).
You really have to wonder what dim bulb decided to select a couple of fat 40-somethings for the Amazing Race, and then have them march up and down the side of a mountain or two. Did they actually expect them to be competitive, or were they simply meant all along to be "first show fodder?"

I think one of her so called "girlfriends" was in on the murder. That's about it for me...

I'll admit I was hooked on the Smart case, and was glad when it ended with a live child returned to her parents.
But not even that case generated this monotonous 24/7 water-dripping-on your-head torture-by-media excess. Enough already!

I was like that during the OJ trial too, except that of course I was interested in the case for the sake of the case law. OJ's non-trial fiasco didn't have any repercussions on public policy nationwide though. The Peterson case DOES...or did...hard to tell now. The media has obfuscated everything to the point that the case law might get mucked up. Which is probably the intent from some quarters, since it's worked so well in the past.
