This method gives the defense a better chance to make their case as they will learn most of what the prosecution has in his case.

I understand that. But I heard somebody saying on the screaming head shows last night that the DA still might decide he'd rather go the grand jury route. (Of course, Geragos is claiming HE can give a list of people who NEED to be called to the DA......LOL)

I misunderstood what you had said before. I thought you meant after the preliminary hearing they could still go before a Grand Jury.

I would presume that before a Preliminary takes place they could change their minds and ask for a Grand Jury, but then on the other hand since it appears the Judge said Preliminary, can they change their minds?
