I did it once, though I no longer have one..and I just copied names and kept adding them to a list I would send to myself in freepmail. It takes some work in the beginning. There may be an easier way.. I will ping this to JohnHuang2 and MeeknMing as they are the KINGS of PINGERS :o)

Perhaps they can advise if there is an easier way to develop a ping list.

I do know this.. it is best if you do a list where people REQUEST TO be ON IT. Don't ping unsolicited people. They don't seem to like that.

:o)

FREGARDS.. and good luck.

Pretty much what you said there VH&W. When I start a ping list it usually is from a thread. For example, I post almost all of the articles on the Texas executions that are carried out. One Freeper suggested I should start a ping list for Texas Executions. I had thought about it, but hadn't started one yet. So I replied to him that I would and he'd be the FIRST on the list and noted that if anyone else wanted on to let me know. I added others that were 'regulars' on the threads and on my first ping I noted that this was a new ping list and to let me know if anyone wants ON or OFF the list.

If I were to start another ping list that's what I'd do. Pokey78 has a number of ping lists to regular columns too (Mark Steyn, Fred Barnes, Charles Krauthammer, etc.). That's how he does his lists too, I think.
