Hilllary Clinton to discuss Lewinsky Scandal on British TV

Former First Lady Hillary Clinton is to give an intimate interview on British television, in which she will discuss the scandals which engulfed her husband's presidency.

Appearing on the current affairs programme Tonight With Trevor McDonald, she will talk about the Monica Lewinsky scandal which nearly led to Bill being thrown out of the White House. Senator Clinton will also be discussing her own political ambitions and her family's plans for the future.

The programme, which will be broadcast on ITV on June 13, has been timed to coincide with the publication of her memoirs.

"The Clinton marriage is one of the most talked-about partnerships ever," said programme editor James Goldston. "Now, for the first time, we're about to hear her side of the story."
