This is not a sick child/baby being brought into this world. The doctors had scheduled an abortion, and cancelled it because the baby was NOT deformed/sick, and because the mother was in no immediate danger.

This article does not contain these facts except to mention that the baby "May/could" be deformed.

Thanks for a reasoned reply. Considering the state of the mother, I can't see how the baby couldn't be deformed.
