And to think I once respected this man.

That's one dinner party where it would be interesting to be a fly on the wall!

Starr seeks forgiveness for his sins. Touching.

Perhaps Starr putting the whole thing behind him should be a cue for some on the right to give up their obsession with the Clintons.
To: Zeroisanumber
Perhaps if the clintons would finally just shut up and fade away, some on the right would do just that.

"I would love to have dinner with President and Senator Clinton with Alice [Starr's wife]."What a horrible disappointment Kenny has been. He and Alice belong at a table chowing down with the gluttonous Klinton duo. His enjoyment of the meal would be enhanced by his knowledge that he did a sophomoric job on his idols thereby earning himself the title "Klinton Accommodator."

The ol' boys club in Washington rules supreme.

Reminds me of the sorry spectacle of Bob Dole giving up his last shred of dignity by going to the White House for the Presidential Medal of Freedom right after the Clintonistas savaged him ten ways to Sunday in 1996. You know they got a good laugh out of that. "Up, Bob, up. Good dog."
Judge Starr wanting to double date with the Clintons undermines his credibility and essentially vindicates them. Just what Her Heinous needs to continue her ascension.

There is a difference between putting something behind you and publicly sucking up to a perjurer and adulterer.
As long as the Clintons continue to hold and seek public office they will have dogged opponents and rightly so.

STARR: CLINTON DINNER DATE...
---------------------------------
This was the problem from the start. Starr considered Clinton a charming person he would enjoy having dinner with instead of an arrogant psychopath who was a determined enemy of the country. If Starr had been more aggressively serious and committed, Clinton would have been out of the presidency and probably in jail.

Sad thing, we all know that Starr read the Broaddrick Rape allegation and all the disgusting details that went with it. I can't imagine wanting to have dinner with a rapist can you?

As far as I'm concerned Both the Clintons are moral and intellectual pariahs with whom I would not want to have even the most minimal appearance of acceptance or association. The same with Teddy Kennedy and some others.
