SCOTT PETERSON FLOODED WITH MARRIAGE PROPOSALS – IN JAIL

BACHELOR PAD Scott Peterson has become popular with the ladies since he was accused of murdering wife Laci. So far, none of his female penpals have visited him during his stay at Stanislaus County Jail in Modesto, Calif.

Scott Peterson, accused of murdering his pretty wife Laci is being bombarded with letters from love-hungry ladies begging him to marry them!

Sources inside Stanislaus County Jail in Modesto, Calif., say the handsome 30-year-old fertilizer salesman has received marriage proposals from desperate gals of all shapes and sizes since his arrest April 18.

The kooky letters are delivered to the 6-foot-by-9-foot cell where Peterson is being housed alone to keep other prisoners from killing him in retaliation for the alleged murders of his wife Laci, 27, and their unborn son Conner.

"Inmates look down on men accused of killing women and children," says Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department spokesman Kelly Huston. "We don't want some three-striker with nothing to lose trying to harm Scott while he is awaiting trial."

Officials are so afraid that someone will get to their famous prisoner that guards are required to check in on him every 30 minutes.

Pretty, dark-haired Laci, a substitute schoolteacher who was eight months pregnant, was reported missing from the couple's Modesto home last Christmas Eve.

Peterson, who had joined in a frantic search for his wife, was charged with two counts of first-degree murder after the bodies of Laci and her baby washed ashore from San Francisco Bay in mid-April.

Now, at a cost of $34,000 a year to taxpayers, the suspect spends his days peering from his cell at a TV set mounted in a corridor and shared by inmates in five other cells. He receives three meals a day and is allowed to shower every other day.

Twice a week, two deputies escort Peterson to the jail roof, where he's given 90 minutes to walk, stretch or shoot a basketball.

He gets to spend as long as he wants with his lawyers. And he can respond to love letters in his spare time. But none of his passionate penpals have been invited to see him.

Peterson can have two personal visits every seven days. So far, he's only met with family members -- and none of his sicko fans.

This Peterson case is NOTHING compared to the RACIST MURDERS of Derrick Lee. All 6 of his victim were WHITE. If a white man had murdered 6 black women you can bet the nation would be transfixed by the media firestorm over "hate crimes". The sound of silence here on this subject is deafening.

These women are intellectually dead and spiritually sick. They are certainly far away from mainstream America. But they are a good reminder of the multi-layer fabric of this country. I'd hazard a guess that they voted for Clinton too.

2. They are the type who want the bad boy. The type who will marry a man, even though he has slapped her around the entire time they were together, before the marriage. Then, when they have lost enough teeth, and have had their fill of broken limbs, they will go on shows like Oprah and launch into a crying jag about how there aren't any decent men around.

Some decent men are being rejected because they aren't "exciting" enough. I guess nothing compares to the "excitement" of a bad boy coming home drunk or stoned and ready to kill someone. Popular culture celebrates the violent bad boy on one hand and the wimp (as if to make up for the excesses of be bad boys) on the other. Boys of one sort or the other are wanted, but not men. Some foolish women have bought into this. One can never underestimate the power of stupidity.

Well, males tend to be taller than females, on average, so this statistic is a bit misleading.

Also, many males don't like a female being taller than they are. So it isn't all female choice.

When do you ever hear of men writing a woman in prison who is accused or convicted of murder and asking her to marry them?

Some decent men are being rejected because they aren't "exciting" enough.

Actually, woman crave status and power. "Bad boys" exude a certain power or potential future power (likely to become leaders.) Attraction to the "bad boy" is like an early investment on the ground floor. She's hoping he'll take her to the top with him.

It has been found that women also prefer to have sex with the "bad boy" type, but will often prefer the more "good guy" type for helping bring up the baby.

It seems to be true that many women go for "bad guys" and not just prisoners or murderers.

Just the average guy who drinks too much, fights too much and can't commit seems to never lack for female attention.

My point was that evil is not gender specific. As far as guys writing to those women you listed, some being as old as the hills, they are wired different from women. They, imo, idealize women. Those women are "damaged goods", and a guy isn't going to write to them.

Wilhelm's original statement rang a bell and it took a while for me to remember something I read about the subject of females going for the "bad boys".

Someone put it this way: instinct. Back in the caveman days, a woman would choose the biggest, meanest guy in order to protect her offspring and herself. We still have instinctual drives, even though we have cell phones, suv's, and dvd players. This is in no way related to the subject of women writing love letters to serial killers.
