Howard Dean just called for a $50 billion tax HIKE. I think it proves Rush's point how liberals complain about the lack of social spending even when there is too much of it going on. And guess what? Dean wants to spend still more of your hard earned dollars on HIS pet causes.

I wonder when people are going to start suspecting that Dean is on the GOP payroll! This guy couldn't do more damage to his party if he was an "agent provocateur."
What a moron. "Let's raise taxes and denude national security."
Hey, there's their slogan for 2004: "Terrorism and taxes. Elect us---you'll get both!"

I'm going to be loving it when wihtin a year Gross Domestic Product, after inflation, will be $73.4 billion higher; over 800,000 new jobs are created; the unemployment rate drops; personal savings rate jumps; investment increases significantly; and trust fund revenues grow.

part of a radical agenda to dismantle Social Security, Medicare and our public schools through financial starvation Fantasy. Nothing is being dismantled. Dean meant to say counter-revolutionary rather than radical, but that's typical of rebel alphas: try to turn the language upside down. He, too, is not getting a passing grade in Propaganda 101.

I mean let's raise taxes $400 billion and hollow out the U.S military. That should prove a winner in 2004, alright.

I really wish we were spending less. What we still have is socialism-lite. For Dean, that's not enough. We serfs need to be punished for not giving the government more of what it can never seem to do without.

Hmmmm? What's he going to say after people begin to get their rebate ...?? Is Dean going to tell them they'll have to give the money back to the govt. ...?? The guy's an idiot!!

This tactic worked so well in 1984 for Walter Mondale, I guess it's only logical to try it again.
Now if only Howard Dean can find a female running mate with mob connections...

What we still have is socialism-lite That's the truth. Actually, we are known as unwitting socialists. We might find on serious analysis that this isn't -lite at all.

...dismantle Social Security, Medicare and our public schools ...And what could be better than that? These are the three things that government does least well.

'Democratic presidential hopeful Howard Dean called for a repeal of the $350 billion tax cut that President Bush signed into law Wednesday, describing it as "part of a radical agenda to dismantle Social Security, Medicare and our public schools through financial starvation."'...he left out how it only benifits the rich and is going to break the federal budget....but I'm sure Dickie will pick up the slack and name numerous good Democrat friends who are going to send their extra money back to the federal government in order to save Social Security, Medicare etc., from the EEEEEEEVEEEEEEEEEL President Bush!!
Which of The Nine Horsemen of the Apocalypse will bring up 'The Lock Box' FIRST? (probably the tenth: Hillary)

In stark contrast to that fanfare, Dean stood in the rain on a Manchester, N.H., sidewalk to assail the bill, sharing his umbrella with the two reporters who showed up.Because they had to.

Hillary's just the ticket!

I doubt Hilllary would "slum" with the likes of Dean.
To: Grando Calrissian
It would be such a short trip. Just over to Blair house for a week or two, then once he had his "accident", right back to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
To: the gillman@blacklagoon.com
Right.
Just as Dan Quayle was assasination insurance for George Bush, Hilllary would be the opposite for whomever she ran with.
