I am not happy about it either. But it seems Bush has put his fate (and faith) in a Higher Power. God, please watch over and protect this man...

Not happy here either, Howlin. Lasting peace in Israel will NOT be attained by mortal man. And I'm beginning to wonder if chasing an unattainable legacy over there, has some sort of narcotic effect on leaders. Clinton became obssessed with it. Sharon has done a radical about-face in search of it. Now Bush. If this administration plans all this as theatrics to appease the Arab street, they sure are going all out to sell the illusion.
