I'm not biting.... I'm just wondering how the press figures his "new look" is of any importance.

Can juries be persuaded to think differently if the defendant doesn't look like a bum? That's probably what he's hoping, that picture of him with a beard and dyed hair is going to haunt him the whole trial.

I don't think all the buzz about the "new look" is because people are interested in his style...IMO the comments are more about Geragos changing Scott's look to make him look more "normal", like a man that couldn't have possibly have slaughtered his family. Defense team wants to erase the image of Scott on the night of his arrest..a man who had quite obviously had altered his appearance.
