I don't think all the buzz about the "new look" is because people are interested in his style...IMO the comments are more about Geragos changing Scott's look to make him look more "normal", like a man that couldn't have possibly have slaughtered his family. Defense team wants to erase the image of Scott on the night of his arrest..a man who had quite obviously had altered his appearance.

The press throws it out there as they will everything. It's up to the public to decide whether it's all a gimmick or not.

Geragos changed Petersons's look because the dye job was growing out and his dark roots were beginning to show. Geragos had the dyed hair cut off so he wouldn't look so "punkish" with a two-tone hairdo.
