I wonder if they've been able to do enough editing to make sure the three thirds are internally consistent. It's a new kind of book. Three different versions of each event and the reader can pick the one he/she wants to believe.

My kid's had some books where you picked what was going to happen in the next chapter as you went through the book! There were several different endings to the story based on what you chose in the chapters!
