Greens may back Democrats in 2004

The lesser of two evils doesn’t seem like such a bad choice these days to some Greens.

As the Green Party hashes out its plans for next year’s presidential election, some of its activists are urging the party to forgo the race and, instead, throw its support behind one of the Democratic candidates — all in the hopes of unseating President Bush. It isn’t an especially popular idea, but it is being seriously considered. “At the moment, everything is on the table and everything is being discussed,” said John Strawn, co-chairman of the group’s presidential exploratory committee. The committee began the process of finding a candidate months ago, soliciting recommendations from its state party representatives across the country. It compiled and picked over that list, contacting about 40 people it believed might make suitable candidates — those who could help build the party, while upholding its leftist commitments to nonviolence, anti-corporatism and diversity.

The current edition of the Democrat party is so close to becoming irrelevant, it could readily be absorbed by the Greens, and become a replica of the similarly-named and equally pro-socialist party in Germany. And they STILL won't know how to fight a war, or maintain a civil discourse in a legislative body, or even get the trash hauled.

But they should be absolute whizzes in raising money from wealthy dilettantes and getting their word out during a political campaign.

Sounds like the Greenies like the far-left spin of the current Demmie Pres candidates.

The Demmies have co-opted the Green agenda

I'm surprised. I thought it would take 2-3 elections for the Greens to go the way of the "Free Soilers," the "Native American Party," the "Populists," and other "popular" third parties in American history.

Of course, if the Greens endorse the Dems, they give our ad guys a PERFECT opening for some big-time hammering. They will NOT give those endorsements out for nothing.

PhiKapMom, this might be worthy of a ping. FYI to everyone else.

In the upcoming democratic primary (2004) ...

BIG AL NEEDS OUR HELP! - Register as a democrat and vote for Crazy Al!

Rev. Al Sharpton is officially running for president in 2004.

During the May 3, 2003 demoncrap debate in Columbia, S.C., our man Al stated “The way to move a donkey is to slap the donkey,” and “I’m going to slap the donkey until the donkey kicks”.

Let’s help Crazy Al slap the donkey until it kicks.

Assume GW has the Republican nomination sewn up. Its time for all good republicans, libertarians, and independents to stand up and be counted. Lets take a page from Sen. McCain’s play book. Prior to the 2004 democratic presidential primary in your state, re-register as a democrat and vote for Al Sharpton!

Wouldn’t it be great if Crazy Al won! At the very least, lets ensure he gets prime time speaking rights at the 2004 nationally televised democratic convention. You gotta love it. Line up, sign up, and send this to all your like-minded friends.

Check here for the rules governing primary voting in your state:
http://www.fec.gov/votregis/primaryvoting.htm

In case you’d like to send Big Al a donation:

Anyone need a bumper sticker or button?

How about an Al Sharpton yard sign?

Oh yea, and don’t forget to call the local demoncrap party headquarters and ask them the following before the primary election:

1. Can I get a ride to the polls – help them spend their money during the primaries so they’ll have less during the national election. Have them take you the scenic route and stop off and do some shopping on the way home.
2. Are you giving anything away free for voting democrat? Cigarettes, box of cigars, box lunch, etc. Ask for two of each.
3. Send 25 cents in the mail to the DNC and watch how much they spend on mailing you to give to the party. Always send their solicitation back to them with all associated literature in the prepaid envelope included in the mailing. They have to pay that postage upon return. Great way to help them spend money and keep you up to date on their propaganda.
4. Can you think of any other questions we should ask them?

Why am I getting this sneaky suspicion that the Algore is gonna try a comeback ...again?

I don't care what he said last year, or the year before. He's a rat, so it doesn't matter what his previous statements were.

He didn't file, but he's a rat, it don't matter.

If the spin machine aligned with dead voters stands up without challenge, the mere fact that he ran once will get him in the race.

I know, I know, even that rats hate him. But they do as ordered, in lockstep fashion, and big old ketchup boy isn't a winner.

But the Algore is like playdo, or is it jellyfish?

Yes, it would be nice to have the radical associations with the Dems---they could forever forget trying to appear "concerned" for national defense with such endorsements.

Think, on the other hand, if all those who voted Libertarian in 2000 and 2002 would vote GOP in 2004. A Thune wouldn't have lost last time; Florida wouldn't have been close; NM might have been much closer.

No, no, you don't understand - under the Greens program, there would be no trash, just raw material to be recycled into ... such things as snail darter nests.</sarcasm>
